The Haridwar Ayurveda Medical College & Research Centre (HAMRC) was established in 2013 by Hasnu Ahmed Memorial Educational & Charitable Society which is registered under Act 1860. The Society is an ISO running Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) and other paramedical Courses which are Ayurved Pharmacy and Panchakarma & Nursing. HAMRC is an Autonomous, Non Profit making body situated at Mustafabad (Padartha), Near Patanjali Herbal and Food Park, Laksar Road, Haridwar, Uttarakhand at the distance 15 km from Haridwar Railway Station and 40 km from Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun.

Haridwar Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre complex, comprising the magnificent buildings of the College, the Hospital, the Hostel and Pharmacy, is situated on Laksar Road Fifteen kilometer Northward from Haridwar. The location is picturesque and beautiful, surrounded by vast expenses of greenery and the tall blooming trees. BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) This degree course is recognized by C.C.I.M., permitted by Govt. of India - Ministry of health & Family welfare Department of AYUSH, New Delhi, duly approved by Uttarakhand Govt. and affiliated to Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Dehradun (Uttarakhand). The course gives full study of Ayurveda and knowledge of modern medical Science. This degree is internationally recognized.
Duration: Four and half years + one year Internship in Govt. Ayurvedic & Allopathic Hospitals.
Eligibility: Intermediate Science (10+2) PCB group with min 50% marks.
Age: Minimum 17 years.
Total Seats: 60(Sixty).
Fee Structure: As prescribed by Uttarakhand Govt.

1- No student shall be allowed to appear at professional examination unless he has attended at least 75% of the lectures delivered and of the practical work done in each subject. The attendance shall be counted separately in each subject.
2- A shortage of attendance up to 5% of the total numbers of lectures delivered or practical may be condoned by the principal for sufficient reason.
3- A further shortage up to 5% may be condoned by the secretary on the specific recommendation of the principal.
4- Application for the condonation of attendance on account of sickness must be duly certified by a Registered Medical Practitioner. Such application must be submitted during or just after the period of treatment.
5- A student not allowed to appear in professional examination due to the shortage of attendance will have to attend the same class in the next academic session.
6- Quarterly statements of attendance will be displayed on the notice board by the office of the principal. No individual notice in this respect will be issued to students.
7- In case a student remains absent from the classes continuously for more than 30 days without assigning a valid cause to the principal, his name is liable to be removed from the college rolls. He may, however be re-admitted within the next fortnight by the principal on payment of the prescribed re-admission fee of Rs. 2500/

Kshar Sutra Chikitsa:-
Kshar Sutra is a specialized effective painless & bloodless procedure of Ayurveda for Ano-Rectal problems. In this method of Ayurvedic treatment, diseases are treated by non invasive methods i.e. a thread is prepared by soaking in the alkaline solutions of special natural herbs. Thread is used to strangulate the Hemorrhoids to cut and heal for permanent cure. This Kshar Sutra is also used in a specialized method to cure Fistula permanently, without surgery. It is also used to treat deep wounds immediately due to its curative and healing nature.
Ragging in any form, as defined in clause (v) part 4 of student conduct and Discipline Rules is a punishable offense and a student for this act of indiscipline or ragging in accordance with clause(v) of the above rule is liable to pay fine 500/- which extend up to 2500/- The student wilt hove to submit on Undertaking on the prescribed format to the effect that he or She shall not take part in any form of ragging and shall abide by the rules prescribed for the purpose as amended and enforced from time to time.
Students who are on leave or unable to attend the classes due to unforeseen reasons have to deposit the fees on due date. Students must attend the lectures in time. Late corners will not be allowed to attend the classes. Continuous absence for 1 0 days from the college without written permission lead to strike of the name of the student from the college they may readmit with the permission of the principal as a fresh student And he may be required to pay all the dues as a fresher students.
IN case of any emergency the residential students of the Hostel may move out of Hostel with the prior permission of the Hostel Warden.
If any student of hostel is found roaming vicinity above the given time limit, his/her parent will be informed and his/her admission to be college may be canceled.
Student will be responsible individually or collectively for any lose or damage of institutional property. Those students indulge in the Anti-Govt., Anti-National or Anti- Institutional Propaganda will be expelled from the college immediately and She/he will have no claim of fees paid by His/her.
The Management and Principal reserve this right to cancel or reject any admission form or alteration in the existing rules , working hours, time table or mode of training as may be deemed fit from time to time.
